i was in target earlier this week looking for a couple of things for my home. i know that target has a reputation for being full of really annoying women, and it’s true – i am really annoying women. the reality, though, is that behind every actually annoying woman in target is an even more annoying college-age son who she’s trying to match the energy of so they get get the hell going without her taking on herself whatever adventure he is on. i salute the moms actually trying to get their crusty sons through life without falling into the ✱ndrew t✱te pipeline! 🫡

i just read through 3 months of magazine subscriptions and realized that i'm long overdue on sharing some lifestyle happenings on this, my lifestyle blog. september brought everyone an extra amount of bullshit that we're still seeming to process on top of what october's been bringing our way. i wanted to take some time to talk about some things that have not been disappointing or stressing me out.

getting a tofu press made a huge difference in my faux “egg” salad and my stress levels

when i started getting into reading vegan blogs, i saw how all of their tofu recipes looked so perfectly crisp and not soggy and my hypothesis was that they were properly pressing their tofu (spoiler alert: i was right). after reading some reviews, i got myself a tofuxpress. it arrived a couple of days later and i broke it in with some faux egg salad.
